What the heck happened to the month of October? Can anyone tell me where it went - seems it just flew by with out saying hello or anything.
Sorry I've been so out of the loop, it's been a crazy couple of weeks topped up with exhaustion on my part since it seems the Peanut is zapping all my energy. I haven't even had time to read my favorite blogs, so I have a lot of catching up to do and updating.
So what have we done since my last post you ask?
Well let me pull out my handy dandy list, I'm all about lists - sometimes.
Ordered and received baby bedding - yippee (ohhh.. it's soo lovely)
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the crazy fam -- yummy food and punkin pie!
Worked like crazy - clients have been running me off my feet with the impending Toronto land transfer tax thing.. cheesh, you'd think they'd have pitty on a prego lady and not try to get their deals done before the tax is imposed - just kidding! I would take advantage of this before the tax is imposed starting January 1st.
Cleaned up and got the garden ready for winter - actually the hubby dubby did that while I told him what I wanted from the deck with a nice big mug of hot chocolate in hand.
Day trip to the states - we got so much good loot there for half the price, the peanut is going to be stylin with his/her new stroller! Can't believe the thing was $100 less at the Toys R Us in Buffalo compared to Toronto.
Bought wonderful rug at Ikea for the nursery - check it out as well as curtains, a rocking chair and cool ottoman with storage. (Nursery is getting there)
Checked out the William Ashley warehouse sale - lots of good stuff, but seriously not as much as last year unless you're looking for china - which I have no place to store anyway.
Carved a cool pumpkin and gave out lots of Halloween candy - some of the little kids were soooo cute! Can't wait to dress up the Peanut next year.
The Peanut has been busy too...
Kicking/moving - like mad when mom wants to sleep or take a nap (sneaky little one)
Growing like crazy - in fact mom can't breathe most of the time and is out of breath with just a few steps - seems her lungs are taking up my personal space so I'm pushing them out of the way long with any other organ of mom's.
Responding to music - when mom puts on loud dance type music, I love to wiggle around and shake my bum and poke her belly.
Getting plumper and ready to enter the world and giving mom wicked heart-burn.
So now we need to find a crib, get the rest of the furniture and set up everything. I can't belive I'm 30 weeks already - wow, time flies.
Also need to do the Christmas shopping - I know a bit early you say.... well according the my husband's calendar, we are 4 weeks behind on this. Usually we have most of our Christmas shopping done by now. Hubby dubby has a thing about going to the mall or shopping when the parking lot is more than 1/2 way full.

We're also thinking about going to Buffalo for some shopping, just not sure when.
Since you're 30 weeks looks like you're having a New Year's baby or Xmas one??
funny I just wrote a post about how fast October flew by.
I'm itching to do a little cross border shopping myself.
Yeah, I'm due in the new Year, but you never know when the Peanut will decide to make the grand entrance. I guess that's part of the fun in waiting and seeing what happens.
